SEATTLE, 2017-Aug-09 — /Travel PR News/ — Alaska Airlines’ board of directors have elected Shane Tackett senior vice president of revenue management and e-commerce, and Andrea “Andy” Schneider vice president of people.

Tackett will continue to oversee pricing, yield management, revenue analysis and e-commerce. “Andy’s hands on approach to leading one of Alaska’s largest and most important workgroups will serve her well in her new role as the vice president of people,” said Tilden. “She understands that employees are what makes Alaska and Horizon special and they are critical to our future success.”

Previously, Schneider served as vice president of inflight and call center services, leading Alaska’s 4,000 flight attendants and 1,300 customer care and reservations agents. Before that, Schneider was senior vice president of people and customer services at Horizon. Prior to her time at Horizon, she led more than 3,000 employees at Alaska as staff vice president, station operations and cargo Services.
