Airline Offers Sale Fares as Low as $59 One-Way

(NYSE: LUV), today announced a fare sale offering Customers air fares starting as low as $59 one-way to destinations nationwide (see Fare Rules below). These low fares are available today through Aug. 24, 2012, 11:59 p.m. PT, for domestic travel every day except Sundays beginning Aug. 24 through Feb. 13, 2013 (blackout dates apply).
Travelers may purchase these sale fares at www.airtran.com, from their local travel agent, or via AirTran Airways’ reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN. For reservations in Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.
Examples of these one-way, low fares* include (see Fare Rules below):
- $59 one-way between Atlanta and Tampa Bay
- $69 one-way between St. Louis and Atlanta
- $89 one-way between Atlanta and Branson
- $114 one-way between New York (LaGuardia) and Orlando

Fare Rules
One-way fares can be purchased today through Aug. 24, 2012, 11:59 p.m. PT. Travel must take place between Aug. 24, 2012, and Feb. 13, 2013. Travel valid every day except Sundays. Blackout dates include Nov. 16 through Nov. 21, Nov. 23 through Nov. 26, Dec. 20 through Dec. 23, and Dec. 26, 2012 through Jan. 2, 2013. Service to Seattle will no longer be available after Sept. 3, 2012. Service to Des Moines will no longer be available after Sept. 29, 2012. Service to Key West will no longer be available after Nov. 3, 2012. Service to Phoenix will no longer be available after Jan. 4, 2013. Displayed prices include all government taxes and fees (included in asterisked footnote below). A first bag may be checked for a fee of $20 each way and a second bag may be checked for a fee of $25 each way. Reservations may be made via AirTran Airways’ Telephone Reservations Center for a fee of $15. Reservations may also be changed via AirTran Airways’ Telephone Reservations Center for a $15 fee plus any applicable change fees and fare differences. Fares may be combined with other AirTran Airways combinable fares. If combining with other fares, the most restrictive fare’s rules apply. When combining fares, all rules and restrictions apply. All fares are non-refundable and a $75 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase, plus any applicable increase in airfare. Seats are limited, subject to availability, and may not be available on all flights. Fares, routes, and schedules are subject to change without notice. Fares may vary by destinations, flight, and day of week and won’t be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods. Fares are nonrefundable but may be applied toward the purchase of future travel on AirTran Airways after applicable change fees and fare differences. Fares are not available through the Group Desk. Any change in the itinerary may result in an increase in fare. Fares are valid on published, scheduled service only.
