airberlin: topbonus spring promotion to take place in April

2013-03-29 — /travelprnews.com/ — Throughout April, members of topbonus, the airberlin frequent flyer program, can collect five times as many miles with every purchase at a Heinemann Duty Free shop in Germany or Austria. For every euro spent, topbonus members receive five topbonus award miles. With topbonus, award miles can be redeemed for an award flight with airberlin or upgrades to the airberlin Business Class. The award miles are valid for three years. Award flights can be booked starting at as little as 7,500 award miles and are also transferable to other people. With Topdeal Tickets, topbonus members can book award flights on a promotional basis for a defined period of time starting at as little as 3,000 award miles.

For payments made with the airberlin Visa Card in the Heinemann Duty Free shop, members can even collect six topbonus award miles per euro in April. One status mile is also credited when two euros are spent using the airberlin Visa Card. All travellers have to do is present their topbonus Card at the checkout so that the miles can be credited. Miles can be retrospectively credited via the free hotline (00800 222 44 222) offered by Gebr. Heinemann. The receipt and topbonus Card are needed for this purpose. Duty-paid tobacco products, book and magazine items and items with a deposit are excluded from the promotion.

Currently, over 3 million flight guests already participate in the topbonus Program and enjoy the exclusive benefits provided by the numerous topbonus partners, such as hotels, car rental companies, insurance companies and magazines. Thanks to the oneworld® membership, topbonus has become even more attractive for frequent flyers: holders of a topbonus status card have worldwide access to the oneworld Airport Lounges.
