airberlin has been flying for one year from Berlin to Budapest

2013-02-07 — /travelprnews.com/ — airberlin has connected Berlin to the Hungarian capital Budapest for the last year. On 6th February 2012, airberlin first started a daily connection to Budapest. After the first increase in frequency in May 2012, the airline is offering two daily flights to Budapest in this year’s summer schedule.

“We are very pleased with the route between Berlin and Budapest, thus we are increasing the frequency in May 2013 and will then offer two daily return flights to Budapest. This means, for business travellers in particular, that it will be possible to fly there and back on the same day. We also offer travellers from Budapest an even better connection to our international route network,” said Otto Gergye, Senior Vice President Sales Scheduled Services at airberlin.

The Hungarian Ambassador in Germany, József Czukor, congratulated airberlin on the first anniversary of the route: “Berlin needs Budapest. Budapest needs Berlin. airberlin contributes to the existence of a good connection between the two cities.”
