ADAC To Demonstrate Its Pride to Visitors on National Day

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 2012-12-04 — /travelprnews.com/ — To honour the 41st annual National Day, as the operator of the main gateway to United Arab Emirates’ Capital, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is ensuring that passengers and visitors will be educated on the UAE’s rich history and reflect the company’s commitment to championing the UAE spirit.

To commemorate National Day, Abu Dhabi International Airport will be elegantly decorated in the national colours with the UAE flag displayed around its facilities and buildings as an important national symbol of unity.  During National Day, the Capital’s airport will feature live entertainment for passengers of all ages, henna drawings, a falcon show, and craft displays alongside photo galleries of both past and present historical sites from around the UAE.  All departing passengers will also receive gift bags including pins, scarves and other souvenirs.

The Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies (GCAS) will also be joining ADAC’s initiatives in celebration of the UAE 41st birthday as it held several cultural and arts exhibitions at its facilities in Al Bateen Executive airports. The shows included a photo gallery of His Highness Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, the late president of the UAE, a viewing of a traditional Fashion exhibit by UAE designer Mona Al Mansouri and a painting and calligraphy exhibition of various local artists. The centre is also organising various competitions among its students and will be distributing gifts and books to all visitors, as well as giving them the opportunity to enjoy henna drawings.
