A Fall Escape to Four Seasons Resort Nevis is Easier than Ever

New flights from American Airlines and a Stay Longer-Third Night Free promotion make for a picture perfect Caribbean getaway.

Nevis, West Indies, Caribbean 2012-09-12 — /travelprnews.com/ — The only Four Seasons in the Caribbean on the lush, hidden gem island of Nevis is more accessible than ever with the addition of two non-stop flights by American Airlines from Miami to St. Kitts. Beginning on November 16, 2012, the new flights will be offered on Fridays and Sundays, enhancing the airline’s existing daily service between Miami and St. Kitts.

“We are excited that the new flights will invite guests from new markets in the Midwest and West Coast and further open the gateway to the beautiful twin island destination of St. Kitts & Nevis,” says Andrew Humphries, regional vice president and general manager, Four Seasons Resort Nevis. “This convenient access will also make it easier for travellers connecting from international cities such as London and Paris as well.”

American Airlines will use a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 144 Economy Class seats and 16 Business Class seats. The southbound flight AA 1153 will depart Miami at 4:45 pm and arrive in St. Kitts at 8:35 pm every Friday and Sunday. The northbound flight AA1726 will depart St. Kitts at 8:40 am and arrive into Miami at 11:05 am every Saturday and Monday.

“The addition of two rotations over critical weekend days from Miami will provide additional options for travellers to St. Kitts & Nevis,” said Senator Ricky Skerritt, Minister of Tourism and International Transport. “These flights are ideally timed for moving romance travellers as well as meeting and incentive groups, presenting the destination with an opportunity to build upon these key niche North American markets.”

With added flights, the fall season is the perfect time for couples in search of seclusion and sunshine to enjoy a West Indian summer or weekend getaway at Four Seasons Resort Nevis. The AAA Five-Diamond Resort has extended its popular, value-driven Stay Longer-Third Night Free promotion until December 15, 2012, inviting travellers to beat the holiday rush while experiencing an unbeatable Nevis travel deal. Rates start at USD 345.00 per night with the third night free with every two consecutive nights booked.

The fall promotion also applies to bookings for the Resort’s two luxury suites, Afterglow and Seascape. Earlier this year, the Resort debuted new décor and renovations to its two top suites. Inspired by the island’s low-key and unhurried attitude, San Francisco-based interior design firm BAMO applied a contemporary aesthetic to the two one-bedroom suites. A “surf & sand” colour palette, clean lines and simple shapes combine to create a serene indoor-to-outdoor space with sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea. Each suite spans more than 1,600 square feet (150 square metres) and can be configured to two or three-bedroom options, featuring a lavish experience for a romantic retreat or special family occasion. Luxury suites rates start at USD 2,500.00 per night with the third night free with every two consecutive nights booked.

As part of the Fall Luxury Suite promotion, guests who book a minimum of five nights in either Afterglow or Seascape for a stay before December 15, 2012 will receive a complimentary Beach House rental for the day with beach butler service. Travellers will enjoy one of four exclusive cabana-style retreats right on the beach with indoor and outdoor lounging areas, a dining nook and living room with flat screen TV, DVD player and iHome station. A red (do not disturb) and green flag system allows Beach House residents to flag their butler for anything from tropical cocktail orders to snorkeling gear sized to fit. To reserve a Beach House at Four Seasons Resort Nevis, call Reservations at 1 869 469 6238 or email reservations.nev@fourseasons.com

The new air schedule launching on November 16, 2012 will increase American Airlines’ service to St. Kitts from the Miami hub to a total of nine flights a week. The airline also operates a twice weekly service from New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.
