1 NEW AIRCRAFT, 3 NEW ROUTES
2013-08-09— /travelprnews.com/ — Wizz Air today announced the 2nd aircraft for its Macedonian base at Skopje airport. The new Airbus A320 aircraft will be delivered in Skopje on 16 April 2014 and bring the total fleet investment in Wizz Air’s Macedonian base to USD 160 MLN**.
The new aircraft will support operations of a total of 13 Skopje routes and increase seat capacity in 2014 to over 680,000 thousand seats. This shows that low fares lead to tourism and job creation and stimulate business with foreign markets as consumers really want access to low cost air travel. Wizz Air announced more weekly flights on the existing services to Basel Mulhouse, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Gothenburg, Malmo and Munich Memmingen. The airline also announced three new services to Brussels Charleroi, Frankfurt Hahn and Paris Beauvais which all will initially operate two times per week and start from 16 April 2014.
