Located in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the 16-floor hotel combines Kimpton’s signature playful spirit with contemporary elegance, offering 212 rooms and suites, four distinctive dining venues, a rooftop pool, health club, and versatile meeting and event spaces.
The opening supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions to elevate the Kingdom as a premier global tourism and business destination. Haitham Mattar, Managing Director for IHG in India, the Middle East & Africa, emphasized that Kimpton’s arrival reflects both growing demand for authentic, design-led hospitality and the group’s alignment with Saudi tourism goals. KAFD executives also highlighted the opening as reinforcing Riyadh’s role as a global hub for business, leisure, and upscale living. Guests can experience locally inspired dining at venues such as Botanica, Ziya, Kanza, and The Vinyl Ember, alongside the benefits of IHG One Rewards.
Building on this momentum, IHG Hotels & Resorts has also signed a management agreement with API Hotels & Resorts to introduce the first Kimpton property in the UAE. Scheduled to open in early 2026, Kimpton Dubai will be located along the Business Bay Canal and feature 280 rooms, innovative dining concepts, a rooftop pool, spa, fitness center, and a strong emphasis on wellness, further reinforcing IHG’s commitment to expanding its luxury and lifestyle footprint across the Middle East.
