Oden, a classic winter dish in Japan now can be enjoyed at Nagisa Izakaya Bali. Oden is a one-pot meal with an assortment of daikon, konnyaku, tamago, chikuwa enoki, atsuage tofu, sastumaage kanikama, gobo-ten kanikama, torikushi, and hard-boiled eggs simmered in a soy sauce-based dashi broth.
For those who would like to enjoy the evening while nibbling, some light meals such as gyoza, dumplings filled with ground meat and vegetables and wrapped in a thin dough, takoyaki or grilled balls of octopus made with flour and eggs filled with octopus chunks and other ingredients which will satisfy your palate, and for those who are craving Japanese rice wrapped in seasoned deep-fried tofu pockets, inari sushi is now available to treat your appetite.
“Winters are cold in Japan with temperatures ranging from approximately -1 to 7°C. Therefore, oden is a perfect meal for us during the winter. But, now, it can be enjoyed at Nagisa Izakaya Bali and Samudera Lounge until the end of the year which coincides with the rainy season.
