San Francisco International Airport to Unveil 10-Year Capital Improvement Plan

SAN FRANCISCO, 2013-05-17 — /travelprnews.com/ — San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is hosting a media press conference to unveil its 10-year Capital Improvement Plan, which will be presented to the Airport Commission for vote on Tuesday, May 21st. The $4.3 billion Airport Improvement Program is anticipated to create more than 36,000 jobs over the next ten years.  San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, along with Airport Director John L. Martin and other leaders, will announce the details of the capital improvement plan.

Media to meet in front of Boarding Area E Construction Site, located near connecting walkway to Terminal 2.  Boarding Area E is currently under renovation, slated to open to the public in early 2014.
