Being Green
As part of Schlitterbahn’s ongoing commitment to the environment, many wooden structures in the park, and much of the furnishings in the hotel including the nightstands in the guest rooms, are made from wood reclaimed after the devastating forest fires near Bastrop. Much of these salvaged trees are loblolly pines from the “Lost Pines” region.
