Zurich Airport 2018/19 winter timetable: fly from Zurich directly to 151 destinations in 66 countries around the world

ZURICH, Switzerland, 2018-Oct-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Countries around the world. There are a number of new additions to the winter timetable. SWISS is increasing the number of flights in its European route network. It will also offer twelve direct flights a week to Bremen. Edelweiss Air, also part of the Lufthansa Group, will add new destinations to its route network. There will also be more frequent services to existing holiday destinations in Egypt and the Canary Islands.

Below is a list of the most important changes to the 2018/19 winter timetable:

Swiss International Airlines
Swiss will operate twelve direct flights a week to Bremen starting with the winter 2018-19 timetable. There will also be more frequent flights to Madrid, Berlin, Hamburg and Düsseldorf.

Edelweiss Air
Edelweiss Air offers seasonal flights twice a week to Colombo, Ho Chi Minh City, Buenos Aires and La Palma. The airline will now also operate weekly flights to Varadero and Eilat. And Edelweiss Air will offer more holiday flights to Egypt (Hurghada, Marsa Alam) or the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote).

Adria Airways
Starting this winter, the Slovenian airline Adria Airways will operate eleven flights a week between Zurich and Paderborn, in the morning and evening during the week and on Sunday evenings.

Sichuan Airlines
China’s Sichuan Airlines will continue its Chengdu-Prague-Zurich route this winter on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Hainan Airlines
Hainan Airlines is also continuing its direct flight between Zurich and Shenzhen, in future on Wednesdays and Sundays.

American Airlines
As of this summer, American Airlines has offered a daily flight to its hub in Philadelphia.

easyJet
easyJet offers up to three weekly flights to Porto.

Icelandair
Icelandair is increasing its service from two to four flights a week to Reykjavik in the winter.

Germania
From the beginning of November until the end of April, Germania will offer a Monday flight to Funchal.

Winter opening hours for observation decks and winter tour offering

The move to the winter timetable also means a change to the opening hours of observation deck B at Zurich Airport and the tours available. While observation deck B will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. between 28 October 2018 and 30 March 2019, observation deck E will remain closed to visitors during the winter months and will be open to passengers daily from 8 a.m. until 9.45 p.m. In the winter, bus tours will take place only on Sundays and public holidays, four times a day.
