Dubai, UAE, 2018-Nov-06 — /Travel PR News/ — Dubai’s stunning and historic creek just upped its hip quotient with the opening of SKAFOS restaurant at Zabeel House Al Seef by JumeirahTM – the newest, trendiest hotel in town.
This is set to become your go-to place to enjoy a chic Mediterranean experience, complete with fresh food and interesting dishes infused with flavours from the neighbourhood’s spice souk, and not to mention, the Zen views of boats and Abras drifting by.
Head down to relax and unwind as you soak in the serene sights and soundsfromthe open-air terrace stretching out onto the creek, sit with a book and enjoy the delightful view and beautiful food, lay on a deck lounger while sipping on one of the signature drinks, or enjoy a fun celebration with your squad– there’s something in it for everyone.
SKAFOS’ terrace opens across three pods. The first one is set closest to the special show kitchen and features an interior bar with high tables, with bartenders stirring and shaking up souk and spice inspired cocktails and mocktails. The second pod features an ala carte dessert kitchen, where all the delicious sweet treats are prepared by the master pastry chef, while the last pod serves shisha from noon to midnight on week days, and until 1:00 AM on weekends.
The restaurant features an interesting and unrestrained set-up with some really cool seating options – from individual high-rise chairs by the creek to a massive group chair filled with comfy cushions to plonk yourself on. The cool interior dining space welcomes you out of the sun, while the large outdoor terrace is the ideal spot from which to enjoy views of the creek over delectable food – from Spiced Koftas to Calamari pakoras, chili and lime aioli and signature souk spices, or indulge in sweet desserts with Middle Eastern flavours from the floating terrace ‘pod’ – dedicated for dessert making. The pastry chef has all the ingredients ready to serve up a unique and special dessert right before your eyes, and the place even has a soft ice cream machine, where they create their signature labneh ice cream which you don’t want to miss.
