Tomas Donev Appointed as Sommelier at Four Seasons Hotel Prague

CottoCrudo restaurant raises a glass to newly appointed wine pro.

2013-01-23 — /travelprnews.com/ — CottoCrudo, the Italian restaurant at Four SeasonsHotel Prague announces the appointment of Tomas Donev as Sommelier. In this role Tomas shares his great passion for wines while working alongside the Executive Chef Richard Fuchs and the team.

Born and raised in Prague, Tomas’s interest in wine started nine years ago while working as a bartender. “I always found wines more interesting than cocktails. You never stop learning, with so many varieties to choose from and taste. It is an ongoing process of gaining knowledge and I just love it,” expresses Tomas.

Tomas is a great sportsman, he enjoys spending his time outdoors playing football or jogging. Being a foodie at heart, he loves trying new restaurants in the city and for the ultimate relaxation a bottle of Barolo wine with friends sums up a perfect day. “I spend most of my vacations traveling around wineries. I really admire work and production of Castello di Verrazzano from Tuscany and Colterenzio from Alto Adige.”

CottoCrudo is a stylish choice for Italian dining, casual meetings or rendezvous, offering an extensive menu of Italian and Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant boasts a wine list of more than 300 labels, of which 26 wines are also available by the carafe. An eclectic cocktail list features Italian and Czech twists on classic recipes.
