The planned strike of Estonian Air pilots on Monday does not take place, all Estonian Air flights to be operated according to the schedule

2013-01-07 — /travelprnews.com/ — According to the Estonian Pilots Trade Association’s announcement today the planned strike on Monday, 7 January will not take place. All Estonian Air flights will be operated according to the schedule and customers have no reason to worry about their travel plans.

On Saturday, after constructive negotiations lasted for several days, Estonian Air Management and Estonian Pilots Trade Association have reached substantive agreement in the terms of Collective Agreement. The new agreement will be submitted to the Supervisory Board of Estonian Air, who will gather to have its regular meeting on Monday afternoon.

On 13 December 2012, Estonian Air and Estonian Air Cabin Crew Union (ESSA) signed a new Collective Agreement which is valid up till the end of 2013. The Estonian Air Cabin Crew Union is uniting approximately 80 crew members. The Pilots Trade Association is uniting approximately 80 pilots, out of which 70 are working in Estonian Air.
