2012-09-06 — /travelprnews.com/ — This year’s Open Day’s form part of a very special week long event dedicated to exploring and discovering the Island’s history and hidden treasures.
Run in association with Jersey Tourism, Jersey Heritage and The Societe Jersiaise, the National Trust’s Open Days offer you the chance to explore some of Jersey’s rich architectural heritage. Visitors are granted free access to our properties that are either not normally open to the public (due to being let to private tenants), or would normally charge an entrance fee. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore and enjoy some of the Islands finest historic buildings. A diverse range of activities will be on offer at many of these sites including, a Vintage Pop Up Tea Room at Morel Farm, a History of Surfing Exhibition at Le Don Hilton, and a Pedaling for a Ploughman’s Trail starting at Le Moulin de Quétivel.
