Packed with British pork, the Upper Crust Hog Roast and Crackling baguette, was designed to appeal to consumers with traditional tastes as well as those looking for something a little different.
Helen Workman, brand director at SSP UK, said; “Our new baguette has been extremely popular with time-pressed commuters, and provided a welcome warming treat for those waiting on chilly station platforms during the winter. It’s a high quality product, but it has also proven to be a sound commercial performer. We are delighted to win this award as it is testament to the hard work of all of our team and recognises our commitment in delivering a unique experience for our customers as they enjoy their baguette on the go. Our baguettes are made throughout the day so we can guarantee the freshness and quality of the product every time.”

In 2012, Upper Crust won the Sandwich Marketing title for its innovative ‘Baguette and coffee offer’ campaign and Camden Food Co. was awarded the En-Route Retailer of the Year title.
