Sofia Art School students made a panoramic tour of Sofia Airport

The students passed border control successfully and followed the path of luggage to its loading on the aircraft.

The bus tour provided the children with the opportunity to get acquainted with the airport groundhandling activities and the functions of specialized equipment.

The attention of the kids was caught by the large size of the noise protection screen, reducing the noise impact on the residential city region near the airport.

De-icing platforms used for removing ice and frost from the fuselage before flights in winter, aircraft stands for long or short stay, refueling and loading cargo, and the air traffic control tower were the main stops along the route.

Students visited an aircraft of Wizz Air. With the impatience typical for children, the kids could hardly wait its landing, and rushed up the stairs. The kind hosts greeted them, showed them to their seats and explained to them the aircraft structure.

The cameras and microphones of journalists, made children feel like real stars. They shared their dreams and recounted memories of their trips.

This air adventure helped them to develop their imagination. Excited and tired, they recreated their impressions in drawings in a room prepared esspecially for them.

The hosts from Sofia Airport and the event organizers wished to the future talants to grow up and become famous artists, designers, or sculptors and to preserve the memory of the visit.
