Small Luxury Hotels of the World celebrates its 25th anniversary with the launch of travel agent recognition programme

LONDON, 2015-12-17 — /Travel PR News/ — Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), the champion of small, luxury, independent hotels, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the launch of a travel agent recognition programme – Small Luxury Heroes. The launch includes a kick off incentive that will enter all agents who register for the programme before 31st January 2016 into a prize draw to win one of 25 USD $1,000 SLH Gift Certificates. These vouchers can be used towards a stay at any of the luxury brand’s 520 hotels in over 80 countries around the world.

Reservations by travel agents account for almost two thirds of all SLH bookings and are vital to the success and growth of the business. Small Luxury Heroes has been designed to reward loyal travel agents for their commitment to the brand by offering a variety of rewards ranging from Amazon gift cards to SLH Gift Certificates and complimentary reward nights.

Agents who register to become Small Luxury Heroes at agents.slh.com will receive a Luxury Agent ID (LX ID number) linked to their profile on the SLH travel agents website which they can enter when making reservations via SLH channels – GDS, call centre or SLH.com. Each booking will earn points based on overall value which will accumulate and can be redeemed when the agent wishes, either as regular small rewards or by building points for one of larger value.

To register for Small Luxury Heroes travel agents will need to be already registered to the SLH Travel Agents website at agents.slh.com. Existing members will receive an email with details of how to join the programme, while any agents joining after the launch will receive a confirmation email inviting them to become a member. No booking is necessary to become a Small Luxury Hero.

Winners for the $25,000 launch incentive will be picked at random from any agents registering as a Small Luxury Hero between now and 31st January 2016.
