Sheremetyevo International Airport recognized with an ASQ Award for best airport in Europe, customer experience

MOSCOW, Russia, 2018-Sep-17 — /Travel PR News/ — On September 12, 2018 Sheremetyevo International Airport was recognized the best airport in Europe for customer experience. The award ceremony was held during the ACI Customer Excellence Global Summit 2018 in Halifax, Canada. ACI’s ASQ is the only global survey that encourages participating airports to improve continuously the level of passenger services.

In 2017, over half of the world’s 7.7 billion travelers passed through an ASQ airport. Sheremetyevo International Airport received the following awards in 2017:
·Best Airport by Size and Region (Europe, 25-40 million passengers per year) — Winner
·ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence — Inductee (Europe)

In 2018, Sheremetyevo International Airport was featured in ACI Director General’s Roll of Excellence list. The list includes airports, which were recognized by ASQ ACI for customer experience at least 5 times over the last 10 years. The key factors of high level of customer experience at Shermetyevo are continuous development of the airport infrastructure, effective management system, usage of innovative technologies, solutions and services. Sheremetyevo continues to improve its services and facilities in accordance with the Long-Term Development Program.

In 2012-2013 Sheremetyevo was recognized by ASQ ACI as the Best Airport in Europe. In 2014, Sheremetyevo took the 2nd place as the Best Airport in Europe and ranked 1st in 2015. In 2016-2017, Sheremetyevo was recognized the Best Airport by Size and Region in Europe with 25-40 million passengers per year.

Airports Council International (ACI) holds annual Airport Service Quality Awards ceremony since 2006. Since its inception ASQ awards have become benchmarking of the leading airports in the world in the field of passenger satisfaction among participating airports. ASQ Awards are given to the best airports in the world based on survey of passenger satisfaction program on 34 key parameters and reflect the aim of the airports-winners all around the world for continuous improvement.
