RDU welcomes Durham’s Jetplane Coffee and Raleigh’s Two Roosters Ice Cream pop-up stores
Morrisville, NC, 2019-Dec-02 — /Travel PR News/ — Holiday travelers can indulge in local, hand-made coffee and ice cream this season when RDU partners with two new pop-up stores. Durham’s Jetplane Coffee and Raleigh’s Two Roosters Ice Cream will add to the North Carolina flavor at RDU when they set up temporary shops in Terminal 2.
The appropriately-named Jetplane Coffee, born and brewed in the Bull City, will pop up from Nov. 29 – early January near carousel 4 in baggage claim. The menu features strong and smooth Jetfuel coffee, a spicy and seasonal ginger snap coffee and peppermint hot chocolate sure to warm up weary travelers.
Two Roosters got its start on a farmhouse in the Piedmont under the watchful eye of two wooden roosters. Granny’s front porch is gone, but family favorites made from locally-sourced ingredients are now being served at Two Roosters shops in downtown Raleigh and North Raleigh. Their next venture will be a cart located downstairs near baggage claim, serving ice cream with traditional flavors and seasonal themes beginning December 1.
Be sure to follow @RDUAirport for store hours.
