2012-10-26 — /travelprnews.com/ — Pumpkin Bash presented by Delta Dental/Washington Dental Service commences with pumpkins for the animals, trick-or-treating for kids, and festive entertainment for little goblins and ghosts at Woodland Park Zoo’s popular fall festival.
Pumpkin Bash celebrates fall with a repertoire of animal behavior as hippos, elephants, birds, bears and more crunch, smash or stomp on orange gourds of all sizes; trick-or-treating throughout the zoo; programs in Zoomazium’s indoor, nature play space including crafts and Killer Science.
Halloween-themed treats by Lancer Hospitality will be available for purchase in the Rain Forest Food Pavilion, including cupcakes, gourmet candy apples and cookies.

Pumpkin Bash is free with zoo admission. Admission: Adult (13-64) id=”mce_marker”1.75; Child (3-12) $8.50; Toddler (0-2) free. Active and retired U.S. military and their families, seniors and people with physical disabilities receive an admission discount. Zoo members receive free zoo admission year round. Zoo fall/winter hours: 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. daily.
During the days of Pumpkin Bash, one child 12 years and under in costume is admitted FREE with a paid adult. Cannot be combined with any other discount.
