Awe inspiring stunts showcase Thomson Cruises’ new Jamaican home port
Luton, UK, 2014-2-25 — /Travel PR News/ — Olympic medalist, Yohan Blake takes on world renowned freerunners in a new film from Thomson Cruises, to promote its 2014 and 2015 sailings from Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The Dream Runners video sees 3RUN, who’ve worked on Hollywood blockbusters like Casino Royale and World War Z, flip over Blake in the starting blocks and race against him as they freerun across Jamaica to get to the cruise ship, Thomson Dream, before it sets sail from Montego Bay.
The Parkour and stunt professionals filmed the scenes with Blake at the Jamaican runners training ground in Kingston, and even got the runner to pull his famous beast pose for the camera. The film also sees the fearless freerunners scaling Dunn’s River Falls, flipping over market stalls in Ocho Rios and diving from the cliffs in Negril, before vaulting onto jet skis to chase Thomson Dream and scale its sides James Bond style.
Dream Runners is the sequel to the 2013 film, Platinum Parkour, which took freerunning to the high seas for the first time ever to innovatively unveil the multi-million pound makeover of cruise ship, Thomson Dream. The latest installment has been released to celebrate Thomson Dream’s new home port of Montego Bay, Jamaica and showcases, in action movie style, the shore excursions available to Thomson Cruises customers.
