Munich Airport named “Best Airport Staff in Europe” and “Best Airport in Central Europe” at World Airport Awards

MUNICH, Germany, 2023-Mar-17 — /Travel PR News/ — Munich Airport has received two awards at the prestigious World Airport Awards. At the prize ceremony held during Passenger Terminal EXPO in Amsterdam, Munich Airport was honored with the awards for “Best Airport Staff in Europe” and “Best Airport in Central Europe”. In a global benchmark, Bavaria’s international aviation hub ranks seventh, making it the only German airport among the top ten worldwide.

The awards are a recognition of the commitment and hard work of our entire airport team, especially during the challenges posed by the sudden recovery and increase of air traffic following the pandemic”, states Jost Lammers, CEO of Munich Airport.
