  • Recently launched in Spain, the brand aims to position itself as the leading lifestyle city hotel and grow in new markets
  • The Innside Madrid Génova and Innside Madrid Luchana are two new hotels for the Spanish capital announced at Fitur 2013

Madrid, 2013-01-31 — /travelprnews.com/ — Meliá Hotels International is once again attending the FITUR Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid, and on the eve of its inauguration hosted a presentation of its first two Innside by Meliá hotels in Spain: the Innside Madrid Génova and Innside Madrid Luchana. Both are located in the heart of the Spanish capital and in its most exclusive shopping area. They are also the first hotels in Spain for the German brand which Meliá acquired in 2007.

Gabriel Escarrer, CEO and Vice Chairman of Meliá Hotels International, together with the management teams of the new hotels had the honour of presentingthe unmistakeable identity of this successful city hotel brand, which adds a touch of style and originality to the business travel experience and which is one of the company’s fastest growing brands. In 2012 alone, eight new hotels were added to the portfolio in Germany, Spain and the UK.

Located in two neoclassical buildings in the district of Chamberí, the new hotels have been completely refurbished, creating a fresh interior design providing both charm and comfort, in addition to modern equipment and agile and efficient service, ensuring that both business and leisure travellers enjoy the brand’s true lifestyle experience.

The rooms offer everything required by modern travellers; the latest technology, WiFi, computer tray to work from the bed, and a mini bar with soft drinks included. Some suites also have a lounge area and private terrace. Of particular note is the Tower Suite at the Innside Madrid Génova with a spectacular private lounge, located just below the dome that crowns the building.

Amongst its facilities, the Innside Madrid Luchana includes a modern rooftop cocktail bar (Club 22), with fabulous views of the city, and a Mediterranean fusion restaurant (Dado) for lovers of good food which is also an excellent choice for walk-in customers or business lunches. In the neighbouring Innside Madrid Génova the Library Cocktail Lounge is a relaxing place, ideal for unwinding, reading a book and enjoying a select and original aperitif. At theDeck, the cosy interior terrace bathed in natural light allows guests to start the day with a superb breakfast or even enjoy the space for private events.

Both hotels also offer multi-purpose spaces with natural light for meetings. The proximity of the two Innside hotels means that guests can enjoy all the services offered by both hotels, regardless of which one they stay at.

The company also plans to open a third Innside hotel in the capital next year. The Innside Madrid Suecia is located a few metres from the Fine Arts Circle and the city’s main museums. This year Meliá will also open this successful brand’s next hotel in Germany: the Innside Dusseldorf Hafen, consolidating the company’s presence in germany and making Innside by Meliá the second largest brand in the Meliá Hotels International portfolio.
