Marriott International’s Interactive Map

Driving Coast to Coast Is Easier Than Ever With New User-Friendly Map

Bethesda, MD, 2018-Apr-20 — /Travel PR News/ — With nearly 331 million visits to national parks in 2017, the popularity of the nation’s most landmarked sites is continuing to grow. Marriott International has launched a new interactive map that serves as a tool to help travelers easily book their national park road trips and visits. The interactive map marks national parks and monuments across the United States and conveniently pairs them with a Marriott International hotel to alleviate the stress of finding a hotel near each site.

The Muir Woods in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area was one of the top visited sites in 2017 and is located near The St. Regis San Francisco, while the Vietnam Veterans Memorial is close to Washington Marriott Georgetown. From coast to coast, Marriott International offers an array of options to help travelers determine their ideal trip, whether it is cross country or a single city stop.

Southern Charm:
Casa Monica Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection

Road trippers can make their way down the Georgia coast and into Florida, starting with the Civil War’s Fort Pulaski all the way to Fort Matanzas. Travelers can spend a night near Fort Pulaski at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Savannah Midtown, then head down to The Westin Jekyll Island after a day at Fort Frederica. The journey continues with a stop at Fort Caroline and a night at Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Park then wraps up with a stay at Casa Monica Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection. The entire trip is less than 210 miles and is full of historic sites.

Great Plain Peregrination:

Element Bozeman’s natural light-filled rooms are an excellent way to start the day before visiting Montana’s Little Bighorn Battlefield, followed by iconic Mount Rushmore. After driving down to the Oregon Trail’s Scotts Bluff, a quick stop at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Scottsbluff, road trippers can end their journey with the beautiful Dinosaur National Monument, located near TownePlace Suites Vernal.

Desert Devotion:
Start in New Mexico at La Posada de Santa Fe, A Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa before continuing to Arizona where you will find more than the beloved Grand Canyon. After a hike down the canyon and a good night’s rest at the Residence Inn Flagstaff, travelers can head south to Sunset Crater Volcano and stay overnight at Fairfield Inn & Suites Flagstaff East before heading over to admire the Montezuma Castle, near the Courtyard Marriott Sedona. After a drive through the Tonto National Forest, the road trippers will land at the Organ Pipe Cactus and can spend the night at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass. They can end the trip on a high note at the Canyon de Chelly followed by some much deserved relaxation time at The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa.
