Mallorcan gastronomic celebration: Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa announces the return of Guest Chef Series

London, UK, 2019-Jun-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa is thrilled to announce the return of their Guest Chef Series, which invites five of the biggest and brightest faces in the Mallorcan restaurant industry to partake in a bespoke gastronomic celebration.

The ultimate showcase of culinary talent takes place from now until November 1. The series of events will provide food and drink lovers with an opportunity to indulge in a selection of fine dining and tasting experiences. Focusing on creativity, each chef will present a tasting menu of five dishes with wine pairing, drawing inspiration from differing culinary backgrounds and cooking styles to expose foodies to a plethora of mouth-watering dishes.

Javier Hoebeeck kicked off the culinary experience in May, treating guests to a taster of the innovative and creative dishes seen at Fusion 19 as he paired traditional Mediterranean cooking with pioneering culinary techniques.

Following in the footsteps of Hoebeeck, on 21 June, the hotel will host the owner of Daica, Catrina Pieras, who describes her culinary expertise as a modern creative style. Pieras pays homage to her traditional Mallorcan and Catalan roots, focusing on seasonal and local produce, to create high quality and delicious dishes.

On 6 September, the hotel will welcome Andrés Benítez from Botanic, whose passion for healthy eating has been reflected throughout Botanic’s delicious and healthy cuisine. With a focus on nourishing the body, guests will be able to experience a number of nutritional benefits from every dish.

Mediterranean/Asian fusion chef Fabián Fuster of Canela will showcase his work on 4 October. Guests will be invited to dine on his creative dishes, which seamlessly compliment the two gastronomic traditions through his fusion menu.

On the final night of the celebration, held on 1 November, all of the aforementioned chefs will be joined by Jumeirah Port Soller’s, Es Fanals Executive Chef, Javier Soriano. Soriano has a distinguished background working in a number of Michelin-star restaurants across Spain, and has perfected the art of traditional tapas and Spanish dishes, which he changes weekly to make the most out of the seasonal produce.

With remarkable views of the Mediterranean Sea, Jumeirah Port Soller & Spa is nestled beneath the UNESCO World Heritage Tramuntana Mountains, offering unparalleled views, beautiful Spanish sunsets and world class service to match. The ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, treat your mind, body and palate to the ultimate holiday for any food and drink lover.
