(PRESS RELEASE) WARSAW, Poland, 2026-Mar-30 — /Travel PR News/ — LOT Polish Airlines has unveiled a broad expansion of its flight network for the 2026 summer season, offering travellers an extensive range of destinations across Europe, North America, and Central Asia. With the summer schedule now underway, the airline is combining newly introduced routes with the return of popular seasonal connections to meet growing passenger demand for both leisure and business travel.

From its main hub at Warsaw Chopin Airport as well as selected regional airports, LOT will operate flights to destinations including San Francisco, Almaty, Bergen, and popular holiday hotspots such as Majorca and Crete. The expanded offering reflects the airline’s strategy of balancing long-haul connectivity with a diverse European network.

Robert Ludera, Member of the Management Board for Commercial Affairs, stated that the updated network responds to passengers’ expectations for both new travel opportunities and familiar destinations. He emphasised that the expansion supports flexibility in travel planning, whether for short city breaks or extended holidays, while also strengthening Poland’s role as a regional aviation hub.

Domestic connectivity is also being enhanced, with seasonal flights between Gdańsk and Kraków operating four times weekly from late May to late September. This route offers a convenient alternative to road and rail travel during peak holiday periods.

LOT is also expanding its network from regional airports. From Gdańsk, new connections will include flights to Brussels, Oslo, and Bergen, providing passengers with access to both major European institutions and scenic Nordic destinations.

The airline continues to strengthen its long-haul offering, with the launch of flights to San Francisco scheduled for 6 May 2026. This addition enhances LOT’s presence in the United States, complementing existing routes to major cities and offering access to California’s technology and tourism hubs.

For travellers seeking sun-drenched destinations, LOT will operate flights to Heraklion in Crete and Palma de Mallorca, both starting on 30 May, as well as Porto from 25 May. These routes provide access to a mix of cultural heritage, coastal landscapes, and leisure experiences. Additionally, Bologna joins the network from 31 March, offering frequent connections to one of Italy’s historic and culinary centres.

Further east, the airline is introducing flights to Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city, starting 31 May with four weekly frequencies. The destination offers a blend of urban culture and access to mountain landscapes, expanding LOT’s reach into Central Asia.

The summer schedule also includes the return of well-established seasonal routes such as Warsaw–Split, Rzeszów–Newark, Kraków–Newark, and Warsaw–Radom connections to Preveza and Rome. These routes complement the broader network, giving passengers a wide selection of travel options across Europe and North America.

Through this expanded summer offering, LOT Polish Airlines continues to enhance connectivity, support tourism and business travel, and strengthen its position as a key carrier in Central and Eastern Europe.
