(PRESS RELEASE) SEOUL, South Korea, 2026-Jun-1 — /Travel PR News/ — Korean Air is expanding its First Class pre-order meal service to long-haul flights departing from selected overseas cities, giving premium passengers greater choice and more control over their inflight dining experience.

The expanded service will be available on flights departing from nine major international cities: Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Paris, London and Frankfurt. Passengers can begin placing meal orders from June 1 for flights scheduled to depart on or after June 22.

Through the service, First Class passengers can choose both their first and second meals in advance via the Korean Air website or mobile app. Orders can be placed from 21 days before departure up to 24 hours before the flight.

The pre-order option allows passengers to personalize their dining experience by selecting from Korean, Western or vegetarian main dishes, together with curated appetizers and soups. Additional vegetarian choices are also offered exclusively through the pre-order system, giving travelers more variety than the standard onboard selection.

Korean Air first launched its pre-order meal service for Prestige Class passengers in January 2023. The airline later extended the service to First Class flights departing from Korea in October 2024. With the latest expansion, First Class passengers departing from key overseas gateways will now have access to the same convenience and assured meal selection.

A Korean Air representative said the expansion is designed to provide First Class passengers with a more personalized and seamless dining experience. The representative added that the service supports both the passenger experience and the precision and quality of Korean Air’s premium inflight dining operations.

The move reflects Korean Air’s continued focus on enhancing premium travel by combining greater customization with operational consistency across its long-haul international network.
