Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko recognised as “Bulgaria’s Leading Lifestyle Hotel 2019” by World Travel Awards

The red-carpet gala ceremony took place on Saturday, 8 June on the Portuguese island of Madeira. The online votes were cast by professionals working within the tourism industry and by the public on the organisation’s official website from 11 March to 28 April. Globally recognised as the ultimate hallmark of quality for 26 years, World Travel Awards is dedicated to acknowledging, rewarding and celebrating excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry. The programme is renowned as the most prestigious in the field of tourism, and is held on an annual basis.

The World Travel Awards has brought success to several Kempinski hotels. Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul was chosen as “Europe’s Leading Hotel 2019” and “Turkey’s Leading Hotel 2019”, and its Sultan’s Suite was awarded as “Turkey’s Leading Hotel Suite 2019”. Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum won the award for “Turkey’s Leading Beach Resort 2019”. The title of “Mediterranean’s Leading Resort 2019” was claimed by Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz Malta, and the “Slovenia’s Leading Hotel 2019” by Kempinski Palace Portorož Istria. Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest was chosen as “Hungary’s Leading Hotel 2019”, and its Royal Suite for “Hungary’s Leading Hotel Suite 2019”. The “Lithuania’s Leading Hotel 2019” was awarded to Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius. Two more Kempinski hotels were awarded for being the best in Europe, namely Kempinski Hotel Bahía in Spain, which won the “Europe’s Leading Entertainment and Dining Resort 2019” award, and Grand Hotel Des Bains Kempinski in Switzerland, awarded the “Europe’s Leading Casino Resort 2019”.
