Approximately 160 of Interstate’s Executive Housekeepers attended the first ever “Clean Sweep” conference during which 10 new and revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were launched, in addition to providing over 16 hours of training, resources and support that positively impact hotel performance and guest satisfaction.
“Clean Sweep 2015 was the first of its kind, providing training, strategic direction and best practices for our housekeeping executives,” said Glenn Tuckman, Interstate’s senior vice president of operations and administration. “Through the launch of our SOPs, extensive training and education, the conference will positively impact our executive housekeepers’ leadership results, which directly correlate to increases in associate and guest satisfaction, and ultimately, the bottom line of each of our hotels.”
