Philadelphia, Increased Security Measures At Army-Navy Game This Saturday, December 8

2012-12-07 — /travelprnews.com/ — Due to the attendance of high profile dignitaries at the 113th Army-Navy Game presented by USAA this Saturday, December 8, fans can expect increased security at Lincoln Financial Field.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, allowing ample time to get through security. All attendees will be screened before entering the stadium and will need to remove any objects that may set off metal-detectors such as keys, spare change and cell phones.

Parking lots will open at 6:30 a.m. and stadium gates will open at 11:00 a.m. The March-On takes place at 12:15 p.m. with kick-off at 3:00 p.m.

The following items are prohibited inside Lincoln Financial Field: alcoholic beverages, cans, glass bottles, umbrellas, coolers or bags larger than 12”x12”x12”.

The Philadelphia Sports Congress (PSC), a division of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, seeks to attract major sporting events and conventions to the Philadelphia area. The PSC produces the Army-Navy Game presented by USAA for the City of Philadelphia in conjunction with the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy and the Philadelphia Eagles. Philadelphia will also host the game in, 2013, 2015 and 2017.
