(PRESS RELEASE) Chicago, IL, 2024-Nov-5 — /Travel PR News/ — Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a management agreement with Veda Hospitality Private Limited, part of the Golyan Group, to develop Hyatt Regency Lumbini in Nepal. This property will be the fourth Hyatt-branded hotel in the country, underlining the region’s importance in Hyatt’s expansion plans for Southwest Asia. Lumbini, recognized as the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a major attraction for international visitors seeking spiritual and cultural experiences.

Situated along the scenic Dano River, Hyatt Regency Lumbini will offer easy access to prominent landmarks, including the Mayadevi Temple and the Gautam Buddha International Airport. The hotel, set to open by 2028, will feature 175 guest rooms on an 11-acre property with amenities such as dining options, event spaces, a wellness spa, and an outdoor pool.
