Hyatt Centric Brand Continues to Expand its Strong Global Footprint with First Hotel in the Caribbean

Located in Santo Domingo’s Piantini district, the hotel features 130 rooms with local art-inspired decor and four dining venues, including a rooftop bar. With over 12,000 square feet of event space and a rooftop pool, the hotel provides a blend of luxury and local culture. World of Hyatt members can earn bonus points on qualifying stays through January 2025 to celebrate the launch.

Located in the vibrant Ensanche Piantini district, the hotel provides an ideal base for exploring Santo Domingo’s blend of historic and modern attractions, including the nearby Colonial Zone, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The hotel features 130 rooms with modern designs inspired by Dominican artist Thimo Pimentel, celebrating local culture through ceramic installations and colorful wooden sculptures. Dining options include Aon Food & Mood, offering island-inspired buffet dishes, Burble Rooftop Bar with poolside cocktails and city views, and Café Caobana, which serves Dominican pastries and coffee.

Event facilities span over 12,000 square feet, highlighted by a scenic 11th-floor terrace perfect for weddings and receptions. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop pool and 24-hour fitness center. To celebrate the opening, World of Hyatt members can earn 500 Bonus Points on qualifying nights at the hotel through January 31, 2025.
