Hilton Surfers Paradise Celebrates A Bright Future

SURFERS PARADISE, QLD, Australia, 2013-02-08 — /travelprnews.com/ — Having welcomed 2013 in spectacular fashion, Hilton Surfers Paradise continues to celebrate well into the new year with a bevy of recent achievements.

Now widely recognised as one of the top dining establishments on the Gold Coast, Salt grill by Luke Mangan, located on level 1 of the hotel, has been acknowledged for the second year in a row with a Chef’s Hat Award from the Australian Good Food Guide.

Last year Salt grill became one of the few restaurants in the history of the awards to receive a Chef’s Hat only four months after opening, and it has continued this success into 2013.

Accordingly to celebrity Chef Luke Mangan the Gold Coast has embraced Salt grill from the day it opened, and have allowed the restaurant and its team to go from strength to strength.

“Salt grill is a restaurant where locals, foodies and visitors can feel relaxed and comfortable, yet indulgent at the same time. I would like to thank everyone who has supported us in delivering simple and uncomplicated cuisine, that is full of flavour, and complemented by quality service,” he says.

Adding to the accolades the hotel’s sophisticated FIX bar’s unique deconstructed Breakfast Mojito has made Nine MSN’s “Top 10 Best Mojitos in the World.”

Hilton Surfers Paradise’s new General Manager Chris Partridge says the hotel went to great lengths before opening to ensure it presented an offering that was truly unique and exciting.

“In our second year of operation, it is very rewarding to see these concepts take on a life of their own, and for Hilton Surfers Paradise to continue to play a vital role in helping to evolve the tourism landscape on the Gold Coast.”

To top off the hotel’s success, the property’s spectacular new Sub Penthouse Suites are featured on Gourmet Traveller’s list of ‘Northern Australia’s Best Resorts.’

“Our Sub Penthouses really are something special. They exude all the luxury that Hilton offers combined with unequivocal views of the Coast,” says Partridge.

“The future is looking solid for the Gold Coast, and with a very strong team in place at the hotel continuing to drive innovation, the outlook for Hilton Surfers Paradise in 2013 is also looking very bright.”
