WHAT: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport officials will provide a special walkthrough of the Airport’s newest capital improvement project located in Concourse D. The midpoint expansion project was completed in mid-July and is a three-level addition that will accommodate approximately 91,000 square feet of additional circulation space for passengers and new concessions.
The project includes two new escalators for passengers and will more than quadruple the previous space for concessions when they open over the next couple of months. Cost estimate of completed expansion is approximately $47.3 million.

NOTES: Media attending the event are required to proceed through security checkpoint screening and must arrive by 10:00 a.m. for escort. Please meet at the clock tower in the atrium of the Domestic Terminal.
Attendees must bring a valid photo ID. No liquids or gels are permitted unless they are in three-ounce or smaller containers and in a one-quart zip-top bag.
