Two new destinations extend Hamburg Airport’s route network
Hamburg, Germany, 2019-Apr-05 — /Travel PR News/ — For the start of the 2019 summer timetable, Ryanair is adding two new destinations that, until now, have not been served with direct flights from Hamburg Airport. Yesterday, the airline celebrated its inaugural flight to Zadar on Croatia’s Adriatic coast. The airline now flies there twice a week, every Monday and Friday. Today (02.04.2019, the inaugural Ryanair flight to Kraków followed. There will be three flights each week on this route, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Both routes will be operated with modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
“There is great demand on the part of our passengers for destinations all over Europe, so we are thrilled to see two more attractive destinations, Zadar and Kraków, added to our route network,” says Dr Joergen Kearsley, Head of Aviation Marketing at Hamburg Airport. “Zadar is the ideal starting point for a seaside break on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, while Kraków is a great place for a city trip. Both destinations add to the diversity and variety of what’s on offer, and this is good news for everyone in northern Germany.”
Ryanair’s Chiara Ravara said: “We are pleased to officially launch our first Hamburg flights to Zadar and Kraków, which will operate two and three times weekly as part of Ryanair’s summer 2019 schedule. Hamburg customers can now enjoy the lowest fares to Croatia and Poland while Ryanair remains committed to growing traffic, tourism and jobs in Hamburg.”
The two new destinations, Zadar and Kraków, bring the total number of routes flown by Ryanair from Hamburg Airport in the 2019 summer timetable to 24, all over Europe. The airline currently has two Boeing 737-800 aircraft stationed at its Hamburg base.
