“The four key strands in our Plan form our core values and are at the heart of all operations within the airport. At the airport, we are very aware of the impact that businesses can have on their local communities and we are dedicated to have a positive impact on our society through our range of initiatives and outreach programmes

“Through this Community Plan, we are able to work in partnership with local training providers to facilitate Apprentice programmes in various departments in the airport, as well as allowing us to work in partnership with local schools, charities and organisations in greater Belfast.

“The main vehicle through which we deliver our Community Commitment Plan is our Community Fund, which has provided over £330,000 worth of financial support to a number of local projects.”

The judges identified the airport as an organisation that endeavors to do its utmost to enrich the local community, providing benefit to society and the business.
