Langkawi, Malaysia, 2016-Jan-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Resort Langkawi has won the coveted Best 5-Star Accommodation award at the Langkawi Innovation Tourism Awards (LITA) 2015 for the second year running.
Organised by the Langkawi Development Authority, LITA – now in its fifth year – recognises and rewards the highest levels of tourism operation across the archipelago. The awards were presented by Prime Minister Najib Razak on December 18, 2015 at the Langkawi International Convention Centre, during an evening that celebrated Langkawi’s best hotels, service providers and tourist attractions across 27 award categories.
The lush garden and beachfront settings of Four Seasons Resort Langkawi incorporate 91 beautiful accommodations that meld Malay, Arabic and Asian design, each constructed with the beauty of the surrounding environment in mind. Bathrooms are a real highlight of each accommodation, with features that range from soaring arches and raised terrazzo baths to outdoor soaking tubs in their own garden enclave.
Commenting on the win, the Resort’s General Manager Andrew Harrison, said: “It’s an honour to be recognised in this way.
