Four Seasons Resort Lanai welcomes new Spa Director Lacey Matsumoto

Hawaii, Lanai, U.S.A., 2022-Aug-24 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Resort Lanai named Lacey Matsumoto as Spa Director, responsible for overseeing daily spa operations, including staff training, treatments and retail, and fitness facilities, as well as the Resort’s Yoga and Wellness program.

Matsumoto has a distinguished spa and wellness background with more than 15 years experience in the spa industry.  She joins Four Seasons Resort Lanai most recently from the Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort and has worked in a variety of salon and resort spa facilities, gaining a deep knowledge of spa, hotel, and retail operations. She is looking forward to developing new treatments with an enhanced local inspiration, creating distinctive programming while promoting growth and training with the spa wellness team.

Hawanawana Spa, whose Hawaiian name translates to “whispering ocean,” offers a range of spa and salon services inspired by the blue waves just outside its door. With ingredients and inspirations pulled directly out of the ocean, renewal begins upon entering the sanctuary and continues as therapists customize every treatment to each guest, to best achieve one’s goals while elements of the ocean are expertly combined with innovative techniques to create experiences that soothe mind, body and spirit.

The Resort’s Wellness program features a range of complimentary and fee-based classes including beach yoga, vinyasa, kid’s yoga, restorative sound bath and Reiki.  Ten aerial yoga hammocks housed in a beautiful 1000 square foot (93 square metre) yoga studio featuring floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean.
