The iconic Hawaiian Resort is expanding its top villa accommodations to add a second level, indoor-outdoor living space and private plunge pools
Hawaii, Hualalai, U.S.A., 2021-Aug-12 — /Travel PR News/ — As part of the Resort’s multi-million-dollar renovation, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai introduces the newly reimagined floorplans for the top three villas, Hawaii Loa Presidential Villa, Makaloa Villa and Ho`onanea Villa. With design helmed by San Francisco-based BAMO, each villa is being expanded to add a second level, indoor-outdoor living space and private plunge pools, among other unique design elements, from slate floors to hardwood trim and beautiful local art pieces. Upon debut, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai will host the largest and most luxurious villa room product in all of Hawaii.
“Now more than ever, guests are seeking quality time with their families, which has led to an increased demand for accommodation choices of this calibre,” states General Manager Charlie Parker. “Our reimagined accommodations provide our multi-generational guests spacious living areas, ocean views and heightened privacy along with the coveted benefit that our substantial specialty suites program has to offer.”
The most prestigious accommodation at the Resort, the four-bedroom, 5,500-square-foot (500 square metre) Hawaii Loa Presidential Villa is set directly on the oceanfront with sweeping, unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and direct walk-out beach access. Enhancements include an expansive second level primary bedroom and bath with adjacent open living space. For maximum privacy, this bedroom takes one entire end of the villa and features a walk-in closet and granite bathroom with an outdoor lava-rock shower. Two additional bedrooms provide spacious sanctuaries for guests.
Named after a plant endemic to Hawaii, Makaloa Villa remains the Resort’s most secluded villa accommodation. Exuding the comfort and ambience of a Hawaiian beach home, this versatile villa, available in three to five bedrooms configurations, offers a coveted oceanfront setting, nestled among gardens at the edge of the picturesque Waiakauhi Pond. The recently added second level bedrooms and introduction of open living space compliment this villa. All bedrooms feature walk-in closets and downstairs bathrooms feature outdoor lava-rock showers. Steps from the beach, the villa also features a private pool and spa, hammock and lawn area.
Situated in the desirable oceanfront location between the Seashell and Beach Tree crescents, Ho`onanea Villa features direct access to the beach and a central location within the Resort. This expansive 2,600-square-foot (240 square metre), one-, two- or three- bedroom villa boasts a second level open living space and sundeck with exterior stairs. The spacious living and dining area open to a furnished lanai spanning the entire frontage featuring a private pool with a connecting private spa. The outdoor experience is complete with a large daybed overlooking the pool and a private firepit with comfortable seating.
Guests of the Resort’s Specialty Suites receive a host of elite services and amenities. Each suite offers a bespoke selection of activities and inclusions, thoughtfully curated and derived from their unique characteristics and location. Most notably, Specialty Suite guests are paired with a dedicated Suite Concierge team member who manages every detail and personalisation for their stay, from booking through the entirety of their time at the Resort.
“We are thrilled to welcome guests to our reimagined villas and be a part of the Hualalai ‘ohana (family),” states Director of Guest Relations Cindy Asada. “Our expert team of dedicated Suite Concierges ensure every detail is meticulously managed and personalised throughout our guests’ stay. We take great pride in getting to know each of our guests, many of whom return to the Resort to build lasting memories year after year.”
Marking the Resort’s largest renovation since its debut, the USD 100+ million property-wide transformation contemporises its aesthetic while holding onto the essence of Hualalai’s authentic Hawaiian architecture and design. This includes the enhancement of all 249 guest rooms and suites; a new, elevated infinity pool and lounge deck at King’s Pond, Hualalai’s 1.8-million-gallon (6.8 million litre) swimmable aquarium; the introduction of the Kumu Kai Marine Center, home to six on-staff Marine Biologists who lead a curriculum of marine life experiences; a new gourmet poolside menu from Executive Chef Richard Polhemus; a transformation of the Hualalai Golf Course, the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course on the island; and the launch of the Hualalai Golf Hale, a 3,000 square-foot (280 square metre) instruction, practice and entertainment facility.
