Specialty cocktail, dessert and Spa Suite invite guests to Think Pink this October
2013-09-20 — /travelprnews.com/ — This October Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the Think Pink campaign. Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, ART Restaurant Seattle and The Spa invite guests to enjoy special events and offers all month long with a portion of proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen of Puget Sound.
Starting October 1, 2013, book the Think Pink Spa Suite as an upgrade to any massage treatment for an additional USD 15.00. Inside the suite guests will find pink sheets, blankets, towels, candles and even a pink eye mask. Choose from 50, 80 or 110 minute massages with 100 percent of the upgrade benefiting Susan G. Komen Puget Sound. As a way to commemorate a loved one during their treatment, pink ribbons will be provided for guests to place on an honour wall inside the suite.
For dessert, ART Restaurant’s Chef Tara Sedor created the Sweet Pink Rose featuring a lemon roulade cake topped with strawberry lemonade mousse for a sumptuous take on the classic jelly roll. Pair it with ART Lounge’sLusty Pink Lady cocktail made with Absolut Mandarin, homemade sour mix, cranberry juice and sparkling wine over an ice sphere. Ten percent of the proceeds go directly to Susan G. Komen Puget Sound.
For more than three decades, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts around the world have worked together to eradicate cancer through campaigns such as Think Pink and annual initiatives such as the Terry Fox Run. On Sunday, September 29, 2013 Four Seasons Hotel Seattle hosts the fifth annual Run of Hope Seattle. A 5K run and 3K walk, the Run of Hope has raised more than USD 1 million for the Pediatric Brain Tumour Research Fund (PBTRF). One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit cancer research for Seattle Children’s Hospital.
