Only downtown hotel to receive Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Rating
Seattle, U.S.A., 2019-Feb-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is again awarded Forbes Travel Guide’s Five-Star award, the highest accolade the global rating system gives to properties that exceed in service and amenities. The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle was also awarded as a Four-Star Spa.
Both the Hotel and Spa have the highest and only star award in their respective categories in the entire state of Washington. This comes after being recognised as the best hotel in Seattle by the annual U.S. News & World ReportBest Hotels ranking.
“These awards are a testament to the hard work and passion each employee brings to the Hotel. We are proud to represent the best in luxury hospitality,” says Michael Pedder, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. “Whether it’s the simple act of friendly smile from our doorman to going above and beyond at The Spa, the attention to detail and care in each motion goes a long way into creating a home away from home for our guests.”
Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Hotels “are outstanding, often iconic properties with virtually flawless service and amazing facilities. Their standards emphasise graciousness, thoughtfulness and personalised service.”
The 147 guest rooms and suites, some of the largest in the city, feature views of Elliott Bay or the vibrant downtown landscape and Seattle Art Museum. Through a partnership with local celebrity chef and restaurateur Ethan Stowell, Goldfinch Tavern brings regional authenticity to guests and locals. The award-winning Spa has eight luxury treatment rooms and offers the latest treatments in personalised body care.
“We are delighted to celebrate the 2019 Star Rating winners, an outstanding collection of hotels, restaurants and spas that demonstrates a strong culture of service,” said Filip Boyen, Chief Executive Officer of Forbes Travel Guide. “Our objective, data-driven Star Rating list features properties that achieved an impeccable standard of excellence in hospitality. We congratulate everyone associated with the prestigious properties recognised today.”
