Dublin, Ireland, 2013-10-30 — /travelprnews.com/ — In recognition of Sculpture in Context, Ireland’s largest and most prestigious outdoor sculpture exhibition, Four Seasons Hotel Dublin is hosting a select number of pieces in The Courtyard and within the Hotel to showcase the talents of these living Irish artists to local and international guests.
The Sculpture in Context at Four Seasons exhibition will run from the first week in November for two months and will feature acclaimed artwork from Limerick figurative artist Mike Duhan – The Fat Lady Swings – and The Foundry’s Leo Higgins, as well as new and emerging talent Patricia Rafferty, to name but a few. On display, there will be more than 35 pieces of art to view and also purchase from EUR 150.00 up to EUR 30,000.00.
From Ana Duncan’s Time Out patinated bronze and wood to Maureen Bushe’s A Gathering in cast bronze, marble and Kilkenny lime, there is a wide diversity offering size, scale, texture and design that are certain to provide a unique cultural experience to visitors from far and wide. The exhibition plays homage to the unique talent of the emerging and the established Irish artists today.
“We are delighted to support this significant exhibition and welcome the opportunity to provide exposure to Irish art, bringing this unique, cultural visitor attraction to our guests,” says Robert Nolan, general manager, Four Seasons Hotel Dublin.
The exhibition opens on November 5, 2013 and runs until early January 2014. Admission is free.
