Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has been recognised as the top best UK airline for the quality of its Deli in the Sky range of on-board food in Skyscanner’s* annual European Airline Food Awards.
The recently published results is the second annual study on the quality of on-board culinary offerings compiled by Skyscanner, the remaining categories being short-haul and long haul both of which were dominated by European-based carriers.
Simon Lilley, Flybe’s Director of Marketing comments: “We are naturally extremely pleased with this confirmation that the quality and selection of our on-board Deli in the Sky snacks are so much appreciated by our passengers. We work hard to make sure that the menu choices and value for money deals we offer are not only tempting but also regularly monitored and changed to both reflect evolving tastes and trends as well as being suitably seasonal.”
In celebration of the news, Flybe will be offering passengers 10% off all food, drink and gift items (excluding Duty Free) purchased on board all its 2116 flights next week, namely those operating between Monday January 21st and Sunday 27th 2013 inclusive.
