New cabin crew members undergo a seven-week training program, conducted at Etihad Airways’ state-of-the-art Safety and ServiceTrainingAcademy in Abu Dhabi.

Etihad Airways operates seven luxury premium lounges around the world and one of them is based at WashingtonDullesInternationalAirport. More Etihad Airways lounges are set to open in the US in 2014 and this will provide further opportunities to US nationals to join the airline.
Etihad Airways currently flies to Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. Direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles and Dallas Fort Worth will start in 2014.
More than 200 US nationals currently work for Etihad Airways, including 66 pilots and 27 cabin crew. All are based in the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
