2012-12-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Joining the executive committee led by Marc Brugger, Managing Director of Rosewood Beijing, David Campbell has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing to drive the pre- and post-opening momentum of the first China property of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts®, opening Summer 2013.
Mr. Campbell has worked in Asia for more than 16 years and has a strong background in opening new hotels. Prior to joining Rosewood Beijing, he held the role of pre- and post-opening director of sales and marketing for various hotels including Twelve at Hengshan in Shanghai, The Peninsula Shanghai, The St. Regis Singapore and The Westin Bund Centre Shanghai. A native Canadian, Mr. Campbell speaks English, Mandarin and Spanish.
The 279-room ultra-luxury Rosewood Beijing, opening Summer 2013 in the Chaoyang District opposite the iconic CCTV Tower, will be the first China property for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. The hotel will debut the first Rosewood Sense® spa in Asia and feature an indoor swimming pool, gym, yoga studio and seven restaurants and lounges.
