ROCKVILLE, Md., 2018-Mar-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world’s largest hotel companies, announced the promotion of Angelique Kelly-Lara to vice president, global talent acquisition. In this new leadership role, Kelly-Lara will oversee Choice’s global talent acquisition department and will be responsible for developing and implementing new hiring strategies to support the company’s corporate objectives.
Kelly-Lara has been an integral member of Choice’s human resources team since 2014, most recently serving as senior director of human resources. During her tenure, she successfully led human resources operations for the company’s corporate offices, including workforce planning, employee relations and international human resources. In addition, she has helped to facilitate seamless succession planning efforts.

Kelly-Lara has more than 20 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining Choice Hotels, Kelly-Lara held key leadership positions at McDonald’s Corporation, most recently serving as director, Human Resources and Employee Relations for the US business. Earlier in her career, she held similar positions at Aramark Corporation, Banker’s Life and Casualty Company. Kelly-Lara earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kansas, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
