British Airways Executive Club Members Can Now Earn Avios on World Duty Free Purchases at London Heathrow

(IN SHORT) British Airways Executive Club members can now accumulate Avios points when shopping at World Duty Free stores in London Heathrow Airport. Customers can earn one Avios point for every £1 spent on various products, including sunglasses, skincare, fragrances, and fashion items, across all terminals at Heathrow. To take advantage of this offer, Executive Club members need to sign up for the Red by Dufry loyalty program offered by World Duty Free and provide their Executive Club details in the Red by Dufry app. Avios points will be credited to their accounts within 72 hours after each eligible purchase, with a bonus of 250 Avios available on the first transaction. Additionally, members can use their British Airways American Express card to make purchases and accumulate even more Avios points. This initiative is part of British Airways’ ongoing efforts to enhance the rewards system for its Executive Club members. It follows the introduction of Avios-Only flights and the ability to use Avios points to book British Airways Holidays packages. Members can also earn Avios points while shopping online with over 1,500 retailers on shopping.ba.com. Iberia Plus loyalty program members can also earn one Avios point for every €1 spent when shopping at World Duty Free stores in Spain. (PRESS RELEASE) London, UK, 2023-Nov-28— /Travel PR News/ —British Airways Executive Club Members spending in World Duty Free shops at London Heathrow can now collect Avios on their purchases.

From sunglasses and skincare to fragrances and fashion, customers can now collect one Avios per £1 spent in any World Duty Free shop across all of Heathrow’s terminals.

To start collecting, Members should ensure they have signed up to Red by Dufry, World Duty Free’s loyalty programme, and entered their Executive Club details in the Red by Dufry app.

Avios will be awarded within 72 hours of each eligible purchase, and a bonus 250 Avios is available on the first transaction. Savvy shoppers can also use their British Airways American Express card to pay for their purchase, collecting even more Avios.

Members of the Iberia Plus loyalty programme can also collect one Avios per €1 spent when shopping in World Duty Free shops in Spain.
