Following the success of similar events, Bristol Airport will be hosting a number of Jobs Fairs to showcase the range of job opportunities on offer.

BRISTOL, UK, 2018-Feb-08 — /Travel PR News/ — The Airport will be teaming up with business partners based across its site at the two events – one in February and one in March, giving prospective candidates the chance to find out more about the different roles available and the skills and experience required.

Around 3,000 people are employed at the Airport, we handled over 8.1 million passengers in 2017.  But, with approval to develop facilities to handle up to 10 million passengers per annum in the future, the workforce is forecast to grow.

The Jobs Fairs will provide a ‘one stop shop’ for anyone interested in working at the Airport, with many of the different employers on site represented, including security provider, ICTS, food travel experts, SSP, ground-handling specialist, Swissport and duty free shopping operator, World Duty Free.

Jobs on offer span customer service, security, catering and retail, many of which are available on a permanent and fixed term seasonal basis; commencing April until the end of October 2018.

The Jobs Fairs will be held on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 21 February, from 10.00 until 13.00 at the Hans Price Conference Centre (part of Weston College), Weston Super Mare.
  • Thursday 8 March, from 10.00 until 13.00 at Temple Street Jobcentre, Bristol
